Where science met justice—and talent took the stage.
The Department of Forensic Science successfully organized Forensic Fusion 2.0 at the Mini Auditorium, Mody University of Science and Technology. Participants joined from Vivekananda Global University, Lloyd Institute of Forensic Science, Mandsaur University and Mody University.
Prof. (Dr.) Jitendra Binwal inaugurated the programme and emphasized the value of practical exposure in forensic education. Dr. Sameer Saharan delivered the welcome address, tracing the department’s progress and the objectives of the second edition.
Evidence Hunt
Teams followed clues across the ABB Building, reconstructed crime scenes and demonstrated evidence collection, documentation and analysis under expert evaluation by Dr. Anand Sharma and Dr. Vinod.
Moot Court
Teams argued Santosh Kumar Singh v. State through CBI (2006), integrating forensic evidence with legal precedent before Dr. Rohit Soni, Dr. Rashmi Gupta and Meha Khiria.
Cultural programme
Kathak, Haryanvi folk dance and an original Forensic Fusion theme song added creative expression to the academic programme.
The programme concluded with prize distribution and a vote of thanks by Dr. Mridu Sharma. It was convened by Prof. (Dr.) Jitendra Binwal and co-convened by Dr. Sameer Saharan, Dr. Mridu Sharma and Dr. Palak Sharma.
